Talk of The South (also known as “TOTS” or "The Good Grub Club") is an “advanced” club, with a prerequisite of membership being attainment of Competent Communicator (or equivalent). This is not to say that we don’t welcome Toastmasters who have not yet achieved that level - we always welcome visitors to our meetings! 

We meet on the first weekend of every month (sometimes Friday night, sometimes Sunday lunch) at various restaurants, parks and other venues: from Nerang in the north, to Tambourine Mountain in the west, and to Ballina in the South, but most often in the southern Gold Coast area.

Our meetings give members the opportunity to speak in different environments, as well as to expand and develop the solid grounding the communication manual provides.  We also give support and encouragement to members who are taking those extra steps on the leadership track.
